Desperation, frustration, resentment, anger, aggressiveness and anti-social behaviour: these are the common reactions that surround rejection. I'm sure everyone has, at one point in their life, disagreed with someone and went through similar emotional waves. Your body can't help but react to the stimulus which induces a release of neurohormones responsible for the behaviour that follows. This is how an argument can arise. This is why it's difficult for people of dissimilar ideas to get along.

i encounter the first two before from my family and some friends. although not through love experience, maybe one day might shows up.
ReplyDeleteAlthough most behaviour seems almost 'normal' and 'automatic', I do believe that we have, however minimal, the consciousness to control and suppress it. Thus, I hope your family and friends will give some effort to tolerate, if not accept, your belief as I hope you will to theirs. Also, do take comfort in the fact that you are not alone :)
